The Pig Light Show Experience
In 2011 the curator of The Museum at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (and the Woodstock Festival Museum), Wade Lawrence, contacted me about creating a retrospective look of my light show music videos as a special 2 month Special Exhibition to close out the season. We discussed many themes and decided the inclusion of a few “interview” videos would be a great introduction to the exhibit, with stories and memories about “the good old days,” and a few descriptive and informational videos of how some of the effects are created – especially since even today there are no computer-created images connected to the show, though digital enhancement of many of the “analog” effects is practiced. It was thought the concept behind those choices would be interesting.
